Speaking of parades..... Every year the Lawrence Arts Center puts on a parade, a show of creative force. It is an all-volunteer parade. People are encouraged to create something on wheels which makes you ponder, laugh or be in awe. Whatever that might be, it needs to be able to circle a few blocks around downtown Lawrence.
The reward, I suppose, is the satisfaction of a job well done and/or the adoration of the crowd. We all love an audience. It is fun to share with your community a crazy idea. It may not be practical, but that is OK. Personal happiness is pursuing your inspiration.
